This is a must read!
“This Is So Happening” is one more book by Amelia Kingston that you can’t put down. You just want to keep reading to see what happens next. Jessie is perpetually in motion, works hard to please everyone and flits from one thing to the next. Devin is complicated and doesn’t do well with change. When they meet at a party, they have an immediate attraction but Devin is closed off and doesn’t consider himself a good relationship bet. Undeterred, Jessie pursues Devin. She slowly breaks through his relationship defenses and comes to realize that he has broken through hers as well. The push pull of their relationship was so much fun and a joy to experience. Neither one of them was looking for love but as Jessie is fond of saying, “this is so happening”. This is a must read!

I had a great time with this couple they are well developed and engaging and the chemistry between them is undeniable throughout the book. The storyline flows smoothly.

Enjoyable read
This is the second book in the So Far, So Good series, and I had high expectations given that I loved the first book. While I didn’t dislike the book, I had a harder time getting into this book. We met Devin and Jessie in the prior book. Jessie is in her senior year in college and is little Miss Merry Sunshine who never says no to anyone. She meets tall, dark and brooding Devin at a football party. She is smitten at first sight. Devin has had a rough life. His father is in jail, mother is gone, and he has been through the foster care system. He sees Jessie as some flighty sorority girl who just wants to have a fling with a mechanic, and he will be left behind. After obsessively stalking him, Jessie is working on a school project at his Auto shop for a class, and the courtship begins. I think my main issue with this book was Jessie. In the start of the book, she seemed to be this doormat that could never say no to people, but then she seems to do an 180 when meets Devin and becomes an obnoxious sledgehammer not taking no for an answer. I liked Devin’s character a lot better as you understood his trepidation In getting involved with yet another person who might leave him. Overall, this was an enjoyable read.
